Technology Classes Grades 1-2
We are starting our unit on computer parts and using computer hardware. To practice spelling words go to Spelling City or click on the orange "Week of February 1, 2010" above and choose the list shown below.
Monday: Computer Parts Day 1: monitor, computer, keyboard, mouse, joystick, Pauly's Playhouse - Hermie Heckles Fun House
Tuesday: Computer Parts Day 2: laptop vs desktop, printer, cartridges, Kid Pix Studio - Draw self portrait, name, and border, print it out.
Wednesday: Common Day Computer Parts Day 3: Memory-disks, Short vowel internet links, UTIPs test on short vowels
Thursday: Common Day Computer Parts Day 4:Memory-cards, UTIPs test on short vowels again, Introduce WordPerfect: write name, ABCs, numbers, and words.
Friday: No school for students.
