We are starting our unit on computer parts and using computer hardware.
Monday: Computer Parts Day 1: monitor, computer, keyboard, mouse, Pauly's Playhouse - Hermie Heckles Fun House
Tuesday: Computer Parts Day 2: joy stick, light pen, bar code readers, laptop vs desktop, Pauly's Playhouse - various games
Wednesday: Computer Parts Day 3: Memory-disks, Short vowel internet links, UTIPs test on short vowels
Thursday:Computer Parts Day 4: Memory-cards, UTIPs test on short vowels again, WordPerfect: write name, ABCs, numbers, and words.
Friday: Computer Parts Day 5: printer, cartridges, Kid Pix Studio - Draw self portrait, name, and border, print it out (sorry, my old printer is printing fuzzy printouts)
