Week of January 11, 2010

Technology Classes Grades 1-2
This is the first week of Technology classes for all the first graders and some of the second graders. All of the programs this week will be on the computer hard drive. Next week we will start using the Internet. Tuesday I will send home a note with those parents who still need to sign a paper to give me permission to allow your student to do math and reading programs on the internet.

Monday: Class Rules, scroll bar, double click, File-New, Mr. Potato Head
Tuesday: Toy Story, My Friend Demo
Wednesday: Workshop Demo, SnapDragon, Symbol Sandbox
Thursday: Calendar Clock, Kid Pix Studio
Friday:Letter: Machine Demo, Jumpstart Phonics, Three Letter Carnival

Spelling City
First Grade Core Classes: I'll check with the teachers to see if they'll give me a list.
