Technology Class Grades 2-3

This week we are finishing up LEARNING how to type. Tuesday is the last day of homework. Students have until Monday, Oct. 18th, to turn it in for a treat.

This week we are learning the keys on the bottom row. As you watch your students type make sure they are using the correct finger for the correct key. If they practice it wrong they will remember it wrong.

Technology Class Grades 2-3

This week we are starting our typing unit. We will learn how to type every day for the next month. See the papers that were sent home explaining how to do the homework for this.

Monday: Mr. Bristow dictates letters of Home Row as they type: asdf jkl; then do a CD-ROM
Tuesday: FJ DK SL A; (Internet) Pass out homework papers, CD-ROM (For homework just have them do the "Type A and ;" lesson on my website: www.bristow.nridge.net)
Wednesday: Meteor Typing Blast- Home Row, Dance Mat Typing Level 1 Stage 1, CD-ROM (First day of doing Dance Mat Typing for homework)
Thursday: Type on Line, Dance Mat Typing Level 1 Stage 2, CD-ROM
Friday: Review in word processor, add graphic, print, CD-ROM (No Homework - but, if you want to type anything we have already done, again, I will let you count that if you want.)
