Week of August 31, 2009

Technology Classes Grades 2-3
This week we are reviewing shapes and place value. We will also talk about skip counting by 10s, 5s and 2s. In class (on our hard drives) we will play Ultimate Math Invaders and Numbers Up 2. Under 2nd and 3rd Grade Programs on my website we will play RoboPacker, The Counting Machine and More or less 1-1000 (2nd grade) or More or Less 1-10,000 (3rd grade). The third graders will also be taking a Star Math Test that the core teachers will use to assess where their math skills are at the beginning of 3rd grade.
